Mauritius Budget 2025–26: Industry Leaders Discuss Implications for the IFC

We are proud to share that our CEO, Assad Abdullatiff, participated in a high-level panel discussion on the recently announced National Budget 2025–26, hosted by Mauritius Finance on Tuesday, 10 June 2025.

Alongside esteemed panelists Ben Lim, Priscilla Balgobin-Bhoyrul, and Akshar Maherally, the session explored key implications of the new budget on the ease of doing business, AML/CFT frameworks, the partial exemption regime, fiscal policy, and wealth management strategies.

Moderated by Shamima Mallam-Hassam, Chairperson of Mauritius Finance, the session offered timely and practical insights into how the Budget’s proposals are poised to shape the future of the financial services sector.
