FSC releases Consultation Paper on the Regulatory Framework for the FinTech Service Provider Licence

The Financial Services Commission (“FSC”) has issued a Consultation Paper on 19 February 2021, proposing the setting up of a comprehensive regulatory framework for FinTech Service Provider Licence which will aim at offering providers of technology services to financial institutions, with a set of guidelines to be adhered to, should they wish to operate in or from Mauritius.

The FSC is requesting for the perspective of the industry, its stakeholders and the public on this Consultation Paper. Any comments, feedback and suggestion should be sent to the Chief Executive of the FSC on (fspconsultation@fscmauritius.org) by Friday, 05 March 2021.
