The Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) has issued a communiqué on 01 June 2021 to inform its concerned stakeholders of a FAQ published by the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as Q6 under Reporting on the FATCA FAQs page. The FAQ provides all of the requisite information regarding the new optional TIN codes in the FATCA XML schema.
