Axis SA representative, Alan Witherden set for a vastly different Olympic games

In an article published by “Canoeing South Africa”, Alan talks about his expectations for an Olympic Game in the face of sanitary restrictions due to the COVID 19 Crisis. Alan has served on the umpire’s catamaran at the Olympic games in Athens, Beijing and Rio de Janeiro and is a seasoned veteran in this role. He is now set to adjudicate the Canoe and Kayak competitions at the Tokyo Olympic games 2021. However, Alan says that this time round “it will be vastly different from the previous Olympics”.
