Axis has kicked off Axis October Health Month 2026 with a Heart Health Awareness Talk, delivered by Dr Adeel Gunness, General Practitioner & Head of Emergency Service at Artemis Cascavelle.
As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting health and well-being in the workplace, Axis October Health Month is an initiative we have continued over the years, creating opportunities for our colleagues to learn more about important health topics and make more informed choices about their well-being.
This year’s first session focused on heart disease, stroke (AVC), common risk factors and prevention, with Dr Gunness sharing practical insights and guidance on maintaining a healthier heart.
The session provided colleagues with a better understanding of the factors that can affect cardiovascular health and highlighted the importance of awareness, prevention and healthy everyday choices.
With further activities planned throughout October, Axis October Health Month 2026 continues our efforts to keep health, awareness and well-being at the forefront.
