Axis Budget Brief 2025/2026

Following the presentation of the National Budget 2025/26 by the Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and External Communications, Minister of Finance, and Minister for Rodrigues and Outer Islands, Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam, on Wednesday 05 June 2025 under the unifying theme “From Abyss to Prosperity: Rebuilding the Bridge to the Future”, we are pleased to share with you the Axis Budget Brief 2025/2026.

This year’s Budget, the first of the newly elected Government, outlines an ambitious and transformative roadmap to stabilise, modernise, and reshape the Mauritian economy. Centred around three strategic pillars—Economic Renewal, A New Social Order, and Fiscal Consolidation—the Budget sets the tone for long-term resilience, social inclusion, and financial discipline.

The Axis Budget Brief 2025/2026 summarises the key policy measures with a particular emphasis on financial services, business facilitation, tax reforms, and the evolving AML/CFT landscape.
